I had no idea you were a fellow dancer! How cool! I wish I hadn't stopped. I also wish I had the money for lessons again... brush up on my skills... maybe teach a class or two. Gosh, that'd be fun.

I just can't get over how amazing it is for someone to be able to tap dance in roller skates. I have to think that he must have fallen a bunch during practice. Just absolutely amazing. I know I couldn't do that!

And, yes, I love A Chorus Line!!! We need to plan a night soon for dinner and a movie and watch it together!

Wii's "Dance on Broadway" is kinda tough! I got my sister-in-law hooked on Just Dance for Wii - when I first got it, I played it obsessively (dancing! with points!), and she got DoB, and we both noted the next day that our arms were sore. :)

I have 15 years of dance background (though I am WAAAY out of shape for it!), and watching stuff like this makes my feet all itchy (in the good way :)).

LOL... I lost hours looking through all the movie clips and choosing the ones I wanted to feature. For Reals. But it was worth it because I LOVE DANCING. Did it for 16 years. I could do a whole post on tap dancing and Gregory Hines and my new favorite, Savion Glover. SO GOOD. Anyway, yes, I've seen Glee... and love that, too!

Glad you liked the post! :-)

VERY well put... thank you so much for your comment! It is not my job to condemn someone but only to love them. God will judge them according to his will and he has only asked that we love each other and try ourselves to live the best life we can. Again, I reference the plank on our own eye before criticizing the speck in another's. God bless you Jenni! Much love to you and yours!

I've been reading about the new covenant lately, too. The problem that so many people have is that they are confused about what administration we live in. Galatians 3:24 says, "Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster [to bring us] unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith." Hebrews 7:19 says, "For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope [did]; by the which we draw nigh unto God."

Jesus Christ fulfilled the law by his death, resurrection, and ascension, yet we constantly try to fulfill it ourselves through our good works. Was Christ's work not good enough for us or are we too proud to accept God's grace? Not only that, we try to hold others to a law we can't fulfill ourselves and are critical of them when they don't measure up to the standards of that law.

John 13:34 & 35 says: A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

People will know us and know that we are Christ's disciples by the love we have for one another, not by how upright we are or how faithfully we fulfill the law. Romans 2:4 says that it is the *goodness* of God that leads men to repentance. (It also asks if we despise the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering. Do we *despise* what God and Christ have done for us?) The irony that the passages just before this are so often used to hatefully condemn homosexuals always strikes me. Do people just not read far enough, or would they rather ignore this part along with the bit about whosever judgest being inexusable? It's all in the same context, folks!

Does the Bible condemn homosexuality? Yes, it does. In the New Testament and under the new covenant even. However, there is also ample guidance within the New Testament on how to treat others and how to preach the gospel to and in the midst of those who follow quite a different standard. (Think of Paul on Mars Hill, not that yahoo from my state whose name I refuse to mention.) Finally, I think we ought to consider Matthew 22:37-40:

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

As Christians, we need to take a hard look at ourselves, our words, and our actions. Are we being ministers of God's *grace*? Are we doing our best to love our neighbors? (Note that this does not translate into condoning a lifestyle that goes against God's Word, but we can love people without approving their everye action.) Remember that it is the *goodness* of God that leads people to repentance, not picket signs, condemnation, or haughty sneers. Simply love people--all people--with the love that God and Christ have shown toward us, and that will draw them in and make them want to know more.
