I’m 8 years older than you, so perhaps that’s acceptable? (Of the bands you listed, I only know Pearl Jam and am not that familiar with them. I was listening to mostly country music, classic rock, and Raffi during the 90s.) Nah! Everyone should love Journey! Both my boys are fans, and the girls (who don’t always like “the classics”) even like some of their songs.

LOL about Steve Perry, too! I used to think he was kinda cute when I was in middle school. That amazing voice must have blinded me. Now I watch those videos and shudder at the hair and the muscle shirts and the unbelievably-tight-in-the-crotch pants. Ugh. And, no, he’s nothing to swoon at even if all of that were fixed. Oh well, maybe he’s got a great personality to go with that great voice. And he isn’t *bad*. Is he?

I’ll have to go back and listen to the song in the post above (and some Journey) when dh isn’t sitting at the table nearby reading. I don’t want to get the evil eye.
