Happy Independence Day!
Today we honor the birthday of the United States of America and the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. It is a day of picnics and patriotic parades, a night of concerts and fireworks, and a reason to fly the American flag. On this day, the Declaration of Independence was approved by the Continental Congress, setting the 13 colonies on the road to freedom as a sovereign nation.
I hope that you are celebrating your freedom with friends and loved ones today and that you remember each day that freedom isn’t free. Remember our Soldiers today and always and be thankful that you live in a country where we have the privilege of exercising liberties that many others around the world do not.
God bless!
Amen, Sister! To the red white and blue!
Happy fifth.
